Paula Tanis
Our counselor, Paula Tanis is out of the office for the month of December. She will be returning in January 2010. If you need assistance during Paula’s absence your Contemporary Care for Women provider will be able to guide you to available resources until Paula returns.
H1N1 Vaccine
If you are a patient of ours and you are currently pregnant we are offering the H1N1 vaccine. We will be providing injections in our Gilbert office on Monday 11/9/09 and in our Tempe office on Wednesday 11/11/09, Thursday 11/12/09 and Friday 11/13/09. If you would like to receive the H1N1 vaccine there is a $20.00 injection fee payable at the time of the injection. If you are an AHCCCS patient there is no injection fee.
If you have an appointment set up within the next 2 weeks you will receive you H1N1 vaccine at that time, should you elect to receive it. If you are not scheduled within the next two weeks, please call our office to schedule and appointment for your injection.

INFLUENZA VACCINATION IN PREGNANCY
Influenza vaccination is recommended by the CDC for ALL Pregnant Women regardless of the stage of pregnancy. Infections in pregnancy can last longer and be more severe. The vaccination is a killed virus which is totally safe in pregnancy.
We recommend that all pregnant patients be vaccinated this year. Low cost vaccination clinics are widely available throughout the valley. If there is any problem with obtaining the vaccination please let us know.
